Acclaimed for her expressive artistry and technical brilliance, violinist Dr. Lee enjoys a multifaceted career as a distinguished performer, orchestral musician, and dedicated educator. Based in Wellesley, Massachusetts, she is a member of the Boston Festival Orchestra and the Cape Symphony, and serves on the faculty at the Noble and Greenough School. She also performs frequently as a collaborator with the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, and the Boston Chamber Orchestra. Prior to her active presence in the New England music scene, Dr. Lee served as a tenured first violinist with the Austin Symphony Orchestra.

A decorated soloist and chamber musician, Dr. Lee has won top prizes in the Austin Civic Orchestra, MBC Symphony Orchestra, and Daegu Symphony Orchestra concerto competitions. Her performances have brought her to prestigious global stages, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kimmel Center, and Jones Hall. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Music (M.M.) from Rice University, and a Bachelor of Music (B.M.A.) from Temple University, having received full academic scholarships from all three institutions. Her principal teachers include Malcolm Lowe, Brian Lewis, Cho-Liang Lin, Eduard Schmieder, and Ikhwan Bae.

Passionate about inspiring the next generation of musicians, Dr. Lee has maintained a vibrant private teaching studio since 2007. When she is not performing or teaching, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys alpine skiing, hiking, and exploring new cities.
