BOARD OF DIRECTORS
A dedicated and active volunteer Board of Directors governs the school. The Board represents some of the most innovative, creative, and seasoned professionals from a variety of fields, all actively contributing to the school’s ongoing well being for future generations. The Board oversees the financial sustainability of the school, leading in fundraising efforts, selecting and evaluating the Executive Director, and regularly reviewing and developing the school’s mission and educational commitments.

VOLUNTEER FOR THE BMS BOARD
Do you love music? Would you like to be a part of a vibrant and interesting group of people, give back to your community and support music education? Brookline Music School seeks candidates to join our Board of Directors! This is an opportunity to combine your expertise and your love of music and help guide our vision and the overall success of the Brookline Music School.
We are looking for individuals who can bring their experience in finance, fundraising, non-profit management, music/arts education, early childhood education, law and policy, human resources, marketing, technology, community outreach, and diversity and inclusion. Volunteers from within or outside Brookline are encouraged to apply. In return, we offer a unique opportunity for meaningful engagement with people in the community and the chance to make a difference in the lives of experienced and aspiring musicians.
