Colleen Hartung
Teaching Philosophy
Every student is an individual and as such, music education needs to be reflective of this. For students to increase their proficiency on an instrument, they first must be met at their level of ability. Growth as an instrumentalist is very important, but so is growth as a
musician. An understanding of the fundamentals of music and their instrument allows a student to freely engage with others while performing and to create an outstanding musical experience.
