Narine Arustamyan
Teaching Philosophy
I have a passion for teaching violin and I love working with students of all ages, from very young beginners to adults. I find that learning to practice effectively is one of the most important parts of ensuring that study is joyful and does not become frustrating. I work with students and parents to make sure they have the right tools and strategies for home practice. By stressing the importance of regular practice, students will see the results that come from working with small steps towards a long term goal. My goal is to encourage student’s love of music and the joy that comes from the process itself.
