This class explores Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf.  Through listening, movement, and story telling children will develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of Classical Music.  

Class activities will explore the various themes and values that comprise Peter and the Wolf, including:

• character, creative movement
• instruments of the orchestra
• musical elements (such as pitch, tempo, dynamics, and articulation)

This 50-minute class meets once a day in the afternoon for one week in the summer.
