Vocal Discovery is a year-long exciting and inclusive introductory singing class for children. This program provides a comprehensive exploration of vocal music, fostering a love for singing and building foundational musical skills.

Students will:

• Learn proper posture and breathing techniques
• Practice healthy tonal production
• Develop pitch matching abilities
• Sing solos, duets, and group pieces
• Explore diverse musical styles (jazz, pop, musical theater)
• Explore character development and storytelling
• Develop stage presence
• Build confidence in performance

The Fall Term focuses on musical fundamentals and solo singing, while Spring Term emphasizes ensemble work and stylistic diversity, providing a well-rounded vocal education.

Vocal Discovery is designed to nurture young voices in a supportive, fun environment. Through this program, children develop essential musical skills while cultivating self-expression and creativity.

Note: This class serves as an excellent foundation for private voice lessons, which typically begin around age 10 or 11.
