Instrument Discovery offers young musicians ages 5-6 an exciting introduction to the world of instrumental music study! This engaging program allows children to explore multiple instruments in a supportive group setting under expert guidance.

Students develop fundamental musical skills through:

• Tonal and rhythmic patterns
• Movement and song
• Rhythmic chant
• Basic improvisation

These skills are then applied as students learn the basics of various instruments:

Fall Term:

• Piano
• Ukulele
• Percussion

Spring Term:

• Violin
• Percussion/Handbells
• Recorder

Instrument Discovery provides a fun, hands-on way for children to discover their musical interests and talents. By exploring different instruments, students can make informed choices about future musical pursuits.

Note: Students must be 5 years old by September 1st of the current school year to register.
