Beginner's Ballet
Age 4-5
Beginner Ballet offers a delightful first step into the world of classical dance for our youngest aspiring dancers. This 16-week program introduces children to the fundamental elements of ballet, fostering grace, discipline, and artistic expression.
Students will:
- Learn the five basic ballet positions
- Practice ballet barre, center, and across-the-floor exercises
- Develop observational skills and attention to detail
- Explore individual expressions of basic movements
- Learn to feel movements and self-correct
- Participate in improvisational games to integrate ballet concepts
The course focuses on age-appropriate ballet techniques, encouraging students to develop their own movement vocabulary while building a solid foundation in classical dance.
Beginner’s Ballet is designed to nurture young talent in a supportive, encouraging environment. Through this program, children develop dance skills while improving physical awareness and creative expression.
New student enrollment for group classes opens on January 13.
