Teaching Biography

Alianora Reilly has been a Board Certified Music Therapist practicing in Massachusetts since 2022. Since initially pursuing her degree, Alianora has worked in practicum and internship settings in a large variety of populations. She has experience working in educational, early intervention, dementia, and medical settings. In 2021-2022, Alianora had a 9 month internship at Mass General Hospital, where she worked with a large variety of pediatric and adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments.

Post graduation, Alianora has worked providing in-home music therapy throughout the Boston Metro area to support developmental needs of children, as well as in school and day program settings. She is currently providing music therapy 3 days a week at Tufts Medical Center, focusing on the NICU and cardiac care units.

Performance Biography

Alianora’s musical background includes a focus on jazz, contemporary, and folk styles. She has been awarded the Downbeat Jazz Magazine’s award for Outstanding Soloist, and has sung in competitive jazz choirs across the country. Alianora is overjoyed to join the prestigious faculty of Brookline Music School, and further share her personal and professional experiences with students.
