Biography
Adrienne Flight PhD, MT-BC a music therapist and the music therapy clinical advisor at Brookline Music School, where she has worked since 2013. Outside of that work, she is a full-time Assistant Professor of Music Therapy at Berklee College of Music. She holds a PhD in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University and is committed to closing the research-practice gap in music therapy. She has training in Neurologic Music Therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. Adrienne is the Associate Editor – Communications for the journal Music Therapy Perspectives, the Assistant Lab Director for the Collaborative for Creative Arts Therapy in Schools, and serves on the advisory board of the Berklee Institute for Accessible Arts Education. She served on the board of the New England Region of the American Music Therapy Association from 2011-2023, most recently serving as Immediate Past President.
