EMILIAN BADEA Accordion; Bassoon. MM and DM,
Boston University. Member, International Double Reed Society, American
Accordionists' Association, Accordion Teachers Association of Massachusetts.
Freelance musician, has performed with Boston Ballet, Boston Lyric Opera, Boston
Classical Players, Boston Academy of Music, New Hampshire Symphony, Rhode Island
Philharmonic. Faculty, University of Massachusetts, Boston.
KARINE BAGDASARIAN
Piano. B.M. from Tchaikovsky Music School, M.M. with honor -
from Komitas Conservatory (Armenia). Has taught there on Piano Performance and
Collaborative Faculties as Associate Professor until 1995. Postgraduate
and Artist Diplomas-from St.Petersburg Conservatory(Russia). Participated at various festivals, toured with State Chamber Orchestra, premiered
many compositions, given numerous solo and chamber recitals. Awarded
"Special Performance Prize" in 2009 Perrenoud Foundation Competition.

Metzger. Toured the U.S., Europe, England and Virgin Islands as jazz pianist,

acclaimed/BMG recording artists Sam Kininger Band. Local appearances with Bruce
Bartlett Band, Brian Thomas Group, Last Monday Band. Faculty at Milton Academy

BRENDAN BURNS
Guitar; Guitar Dept.
Coordinator. BM, Professional Music, Berklee. Brendan has been teaching
privately since 1999, and has been affiliated with Berklee College of Music's
Music Mentoring program, and Newton Community Eduction. Brendan is the
guitar department coordinator at BMS, overseeing GUITOBER - a month long
celebration of guitar held every fall. He also teaches at Tune Foolery, an
artistic collective of musicians with psychiatric disabilities, and online for
JamPlay.com.
Brendan is the musical director of The Elephant Tango, the featured houseband
in the monthly Bent Wit Cabaret, as well as a creative and dynamic
a shadow-puppet troupe.

String Quartet and Kalistos Chamber Orchestra. Performed with Lunaire and

(Austria), Leopold Auer Academy (Hungary) and American Academy of Arts and
Letters (NYC). Attended Tanglewood Music Center (2002) as Edward G. Shufro
fellow. Performs with Portland Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Boston Pops,

MARIO CERRA Saxophone; clarinet; flute. Summa Cum Laude, Berklee
College of Music; Joe Viola Award 1999. Mario has worked as a recording artist
and Musical Director for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, recording several works
in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He has performed with internationally acclaimed artists including
Greg Hopkins, Joe Lovano, and Maria Schneider, and currently with some of the
finest musicians in the Boston Area.

AMIE CHING-HSUAN CHEN
Piano. BM, University of Michigan in Ann Arbor; MM, New England Conservatory.
Performs extensively throughout New England area in various concerts and master
classes. Staff accompanist of New England Conservatory. Studied with Alexender
Korsantia , Arthur Greene and Da-Ming Zhu, pedagogically with A. Ramon Rivera.
Amie Chen is also a member of NEPTA and MTNA.
LAURA BEWIG CHRITTON
Voice. BA, UMASS at Amherst; MA in Opera
Performance, NEC. Performed operatic and oratorio roles professionally around
the United States and in Europe. She is equally at home on the concert stage,
performing numerous recitals of lieder, song and cabaret in the Boston area.
Upcoming performances include a solo recital tour and a performance of Kurt
Weill’s Broadway music with the Bostonians Opera Group.
